Interact vs QualifySites: two kinds of quiz

Interact and QualifySites both make quizzes, which is where the likeness mostly ends. One turns followers into subscribers. The other turns paid clicks into scored enquiries for your sales team. Knowing which you need answers the question for you.

Not every quiz has the same job

“Quiz” covers two very different things. The first is a lead magnet: a light, often playful set of questions that ends with a personality type and an email opt-in. Its job is to grow a list. The second is a qualifier: a short journey that helps a buyer choose, and tells your team how serious they are. Its job is to fill a sales calendar with the right people.

Interact is very good at the first. It has been making quizzes since 2014, its integrations read like a directory of email tools, and each outcome can drop a subscriber into its own segment. Plenty of well-known creators and brands use it for exactly that.

We only build the second kind. Our clients sell retreats, trips, treatments, kitchens and weddings. Their visitors arrive from paid ads, and a single right customer can be worth more than a year of software fees. For them, what matters isn’t how many people opt in. It’s how cheaply the ads produce enquiries worth calling.

Side by side

What each quiz is for

Interact’s kind

The list-building quiz

“Which wellness personality are you?”

  • Wins a subscriber and puts them in the right email segment.
  • Success is how many people opt in.
  • Traffic is often organic: Instagram, YouTube, a podcast, a blog.
  • The next step is an email sequence, days or weeks later.

Our kind

The qualifying quiz

“Which retreat suits you, and when could you go?”

  • Recommends the right option and scores the buyer on fit, budget and timing.
  • Success is cost per qualified lead and per booked call.
  • Traffic is usually paid: Meta and Google ads.
  • The next step is a call from your team, ideally the same day.

Fair’s fair

Where Interact is the better choice

If your audience lives on Instagram, YouTube or a podcast, and the plan is to nurture them by email, Interact is hard to beat for the money. Its InteractAI can draft a quiz from your website address, its templates for personality and product-recommendation quizzes are well liked, and reviewers on G2 keep praising how easy it is to build without technical help. Support gets good marks too, with reps who’ll look over your quiz.

Price is the other reason. There’s a free plan, Lite costs $27 a month on annual billing, and there’s no set-up fee. Our plans start at $495 a month plus $1,500 to set up, and they only make sense once you’re spending around $3,000 a month on ads.

What reviewers wish it did

The most common complaint on G2 is design control: people want more say over fonts, layouts and results pages. Others point to the caps. Each plan limits quizzes and leads, removing Interact’s branding needs Growth, and the HubSpot and Keap connections only arrive on Pro. On the free plan, quizzes switch off at 100 responses until the next billing period.

If you pay for clicks

Why ad feedback changes the choice

When a quiz is fed by organic traffic, tracking is a nice extra. When it’s fed by Meta and Google, it decides what your next month of spend buys. Both platforms optimise towards the people you report as conversions. Report every opt-in and they’ll find more people who like quizzes. Report the qualified enquiries and the sales, with the click each one came from, and they’ll start finding buyers.

Interact’s own help article, as of October 2026, sets up Meta tracking by hosting the quiz and its result pages on your website and counting visits to the result pages. It works, within limits: mid-quiz drop-off isn’t tracked, and we found no Conversions API, no Google Ads conversion feature and no way to pass a lead’s score back. For a list-builder that’s fine. For ad-funded sales enquiries it leaves the most valuable signal unsent.

In our journeys, each visit keeps its click ID, answers become a score, and qualified leads, their value and sales go back to Meta and Google. Then we test the journey against your current page, and if it hasn’t beaten that page by 30% within 30 days, you get your money back.

Plans

Interact’s plans beside ours

Interact charges for software and counts quizzes and leads. We charge for the finished, tested journey, sized by your ad spend.

Interactpublished plans, checked 23 October 2026

  • Lite$39/mo$27/mo billed yearly · 25 quizzes · 500 leads a month · Interact branding
  • Growth$89/mo$53/mo billed yearly · 50 quizzes · 2,000 leads · your branding

Annual prices are what Interact shows on its plan cards; monthly prices are from its own page markup. Quiz and lead limits rose in 2026, so older reviews quote lower caps.

Real examples

Which one would we pick for you?

  • A podcaster with 40,000 Instagram followers and a Kit list

    Our pick Interact

A personality quiz that tags each new subscriber is exactly what Interact is for. It’s cheap, quick and plugs straight into Kit.

  • A skincare brand recommending products to shoppers

    Our pick Interact

People buy at a checkout, not on a sales call. A product-recommendation quiz feeding Klaviyo is the right tool.

  • A yoga retreat paying for Meta ads to fill $5,000 places

    Our pick QualifySites

Each enquiry is worth a lot, and Meta needs to hear who actually booked. That’s a qualifying journey, not a list-builder.

  • A private clinic whose coordinators phone every enquiry

    Our pick QualifySites

Scoring by treatment, budget and timing tells the team who to ring first. Interact’s quizzes aren’t built around lead scores.

  • A coach testing a lead magnet before spending on ads

    Our pick Interact

Start on Interact’s free plan, see what people answer, and learn. Come back when the ads are running.

  • A boutique hotel with no ad budget and a quiet website

    Our pick Neither, yet

Neither tool can create demand. With little traffic, there’s nothing for a quiz to sort or a test to measure.

Questions

Interact vs QualifySites: what people ask

What is Interact used for?

Mostly for growing an email list. Interact makes personality, scored and assessment quizzes that capture an email address and send each person into the right segment of your email platform. Creators, coaches and online brands use it to turn social and website traffic into subscribers.

How much does Interact cost in 2026?

On its plans page, checked 23 October 2026: Lite is $39 a month ($27 billed yearly), Growth $89 ($53) and Pro $209 ($125). There’s a free plan with 5 quizzes, which stops collecting when it reaches 100 responses in a billing period. Interact’s branding comes off from Growth.

Can Interact track Facebook ad conversions?

Interact’s help centre describes a workaround: host the quiz and separate result pages on your own website, then set up a Meta custom conversion on the result pages’ addresses. It notes that drop-off mid-quiz can’t be tracked. We found no native Conversions API or Google Ads conversion feature.

Is Interact good for B2B or high-ticket lead generation?

It can capture the lead, but it isn’t built around scoring buyers for a sales team. HubSpot and Keap connections are on the Pro plan, other CRMs go through Zapier, and there’s no built-in A/B testing we could find. For high-value services sold on a call, a qualifying journey with scoring and ad feedback is the better fit.

Does Interact have a free trial?

Its own pages disagree. The plans page showed a 7-day trial on paid plans when we checked, while another Interact page said paid plans have no trial. The free plan is the safe way to try it.

Could we use Interact and QualifySites together?

Yes, and some businesses should. Keep a fun Interact quiz for your social audience and newsletter, and use us for the journey your paid ads point at. One grows the list; the other finds the buyers worth calling today.

How we compared

We’re QualifySites, so we’re not neutral, and you should read this page knowing that. Everything we say about Interact comes from its own public pricing, product and help pages, checked on 23 October 2026, and from themes that come up again and again in public reviews. Prices change, so check theirs before you decide. If anything here is wrong or out of date, email hello@qualifysites.com and we’ll fix it.
